“Okay, lesson learned: don’t write three full reviews in December and assume you’ll have time to write one for January in between shopping, writing classes, bookmaking, Super Smashing and general Yuletide merriment.”

Sorry if this wasn’t how you expected to start the new year. It’s certainly not how I planned it. Alas, time and other obligations have broken my writing streak, meaning you’ll have to wait just a bit longer for my already long-awaited review of Disney’s Pinocchio.

iago not surprised

I can’t apologize enough, though the most I can do at the moment is commence the voting for February’s review a day early.

And the nominees are –

Thumbelina (1994)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

West Side Story

Stardust

Some Like It Hot

If I reach my goal of making $100 per month on Patreon, I can go back to doing weekly tv show reviews. As of writing this I’m exactly halfway there! If you want an idea of what to expect, here’s my take on the first episode of Gravity Falls. I completed my review of the entire series last year and had a blast. There’s plenty of other shows I’d love to share my thoughts on, so please consider supporting me.

I want to thank all my readers for sticking by me and driving me to better my writing. 2018 has had its ups and downs, but it’s been the best year for this blog so far, and I can’t express my gratitude enough. Let’s make 2019 an even better one. Thanks for reading, happy voting, and I hope you all have a Happy New Year!
